Overview
West Virginia University Health System (SMG) seeks a Hospitalist, Medical Director. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Charleston, WV. Responsibilities
The Medical Director will oversee the Thomas Memorial Hospital (TMH) Hospitalist Program. Ensure patients receive highest quality treatment, oversight of clinical care, staffing recommendations. Efficient consultation service, streamlined clinical processes, appropriate treatment protocols, high patient satisfaction and safety. Oversee quality metrics as established by WVUHS. Work closely with physicians, administration, nursing, and technical staff to maintain excellent level of clinical care/operations and organize development of new clinical programs and innovations. Qualifications
MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligible to obtain a West Virginia medical license. Completed Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program. Board certified / eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Benefits
