Overview Cooper University Health Care is committed to exceptional health care with a focus on clinical innovation, research and professional development. This faculty role combines clinical care, medical education and scholarly activity within our evolving Consultation‑Liaison, Emergency and Inpatient Psychiatry programs.
Job Summary The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at CUH/CMSRU is expanding clinical services and academic programs. Candidates will join attendings and APPs to provide clinical care, teach medical students and residents, conduct research, and contribute to program development and departmental administration.
Responsibilities
Teach medical students, residents and other trainees.
Conduct clinical research and scholarly activity.
Provide clinical service on Consultation‑Liaison/Emergency and inpatient psychiatry units as needed.
Develop and oversee departmental programs and clinical initiatives.
Share administrative duties with other department members.
Qualifications
Eligible for or hold active ACGME board certification in General Psychiatry.
Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey.
Appointment and rank commensurate with experience.
