Job Summary: Dexian is seeking a Capacity Planner for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

BVI / Demand gathering - initial efforts to be focused on existing data and will expand to AITs for creation

Focus will be primarily assisting Global Markets Production Support Capacity owners in bringing in new AITs

Candidate will assist with multiple applications on-boarding and have a specific set of deliverables around Performance and Capacity

Includes Risk and Regulatory Management, Information Security Generalist Skills, Information Security Management

Candidate will be required to review technical application documentation in an effort to identify potential capacity impacts alongside Markets Production Support owners

Candidate will work with Production Support owners to collectively assist in providing forecasts and models for performance and capacity of impacted components

Once performance testing is underway, the candidate will review saturation test results and artifacts (e.g., AppDynamics, DynaTrace, Splunk, SAR/vmstat, application logs and Performance Center results) to measure and interpret capacity thresholds/limits

The candidate will provide support and consulting to the Production Support owners for the application(s) in question

Requirements:

Minimum experienced greater than 3-5 years of IT Capacity Management

Demonstrate knowledge of capacity planning methodologies

Demonstrate knowledge of mathematical/statistical and quantitative analytics

Demonstrate knowledge of ITIL capacity management best practices COBIT framework

The candidate will be expected to foster a culture of support and knowledge sharing

Knowledge of security frameworks and vulnerability assessment
