Business Solutions Manager
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a leading law firm seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to join its dynamic team in New York City. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to make a tangible impact on the firm’s growth and expansion while working on a national scale. The position, based in NYC, involves select travel and remote collaboration with teams across the U.S. If you have a strong background in business development within a law firm or professional services environment, this is your chance to play a key role in shaping the firm’s future.
Base pay range $135,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Develop growth strategies by identifying and executing innovative approaches to expand the firm’s client base and market presence, particularly in the NY/NJ region.
Build and strengthen client relationships by fostering lasting connections with attorneys and key clients, conducting needs assessments to align firm services with their evolving demands.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, providing strategic insights and recommendations to leadership.
Craft winning proposals and pitches by leading the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and marketing materials that attract and retain top‑tier clients.
Expand industry presence by representing the firm at high‑profile conferences, seminars, and networking events to enhance visibility and build valuable relationships.
Collaborate across teams by working closely with attorneys, practice groups, and marketing teams to align business development efforts with the firm’s broader strategic goals.
Track and optimize performance by monitoring business development activities, analyzing ROI, and refining strategies for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in business development, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field (MBA or JD is a plus).
Strong understanding of the legal industry and market dynamics.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Proficiency in market research, strategic planning, and data analysis.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives while meeting deadlines.
Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and comfortable working independently and in teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Required Work Hours Monday to Friday, 1st Shift
