Overview Terra-Gen is a growing developer and operator of utility‑scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage facilities in California, New York, and Texas. The NERC Compliance Specialist will assist Terra‑Gen’s Compliance programs and help ensure adherence to NERC Operations & Planning (O&P) standards throughout the renewable energy generation sector. Responsibilities

Support the Terra‑Gen NERC Reliability Compliance Program and related initiatives designed to demonstrate compliance with state commissions, regional, and ERO Enterprise regulations such as WECC, CPUC, CAISO, PUCT, and ERCOT. Submit self‑certifications, data submittals, and evidence for NERC O&P compliance audits. Maintain and organize NERC Reliability Compliance Program compliance evidence. Maintain engineering and O&M records required by company compliance programs and individual NERC‑registered projects. Assist the Regulatory Compliance Engineer with NERC O&P compliance investigations, document root‑cause analysis, submit self‑reports, and create mitigation plans. Support the NERC Compliance Department and Terra‑Gen Operations Managers and Engineering Department in developing and implementing internal controls for NERC operations and planning (O&P) standards. Stay up to date with changes to the NERC O&P standards. Manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines. Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned by Director NERC Compliance. Qualifications

Minimum Requirements Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint. Experience with NERC operations and planning standards (EOP, FAC, PRC, MOD, PER), regulatory compliance and auditing practices. High‑level written communication skills and proven ability to generate and deliver written policies and procedures. Excellent project management, interpersonal, and communication skills. Highly organized and detail‑oriented with a passion for ensuring a compliance culture. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Program Management, Engineering, Business, Mathematics or related field. Three to five years of experience in utility, NERC O&P compliance, regulatory or related experience. Three to five years’ compliance experience working with NERC O&P Reliability Standards required. Ability to work independently with little to no supervision. Attention to detail and focus on quality. Problem‑solving skills. Physical Demands
