Job Summary The Lead Sales and Operations Planning role is responsible for providing leadership using an influential leadership style with global Sales and Operations Planning for motorcycles / parts and accessories / general merchandise. This position will lead project teams through the coordination and development of the integrated worldwide retail and wholesale forecasts, and/or inventory (company and dealer) and production plans with relevant stakeholders to maximize volume growth on a worldwide basis.
Job Responsibilities
Lead, develop and improve Sales & Operations Planning processes, standardization of work, planning calendars, performance & process metrics, meetings, presentations, after action reviews (AAR), Excel spreadsheets, especially as these items relate to the Sales & Operations Planning 5 Step Process (data gathering, demand planning, supply planning, pre‑Sales & Operations Planning meeting and Executive Sales & Operations Planning meeting)
Evaluate and comprehend worldwide retail sales, wholesale shipments, inventory (company and dealer) and production plans in all markets
Develop processes to ensure alignment to optimize sales and inventory levels in conjunction with worldwide sales and finance objectives and strategies
Lead change management efforts to increase the influence, which worldwide retail analysis and planning will have on corporate objectives
Develop and implement best practices and metrics to increase and show the health of Sales & Operations Planning as a process
Support continuous improvement initiatives by helping to manage short and long‑range Sales & Operations Planning goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures that are consistently applied throughout the company
Education Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Experience Requirements Required Experience
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience
Demonstrated experience in supply chain management of forecasting leadership with project management, meeting facilitation and business process development experience
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Proficient in data analysis and ability to analyze data on a problem‑to‑solution level and make appropriate recommendations
Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
Preferred Experience
Experience with change management
Motorcycle, Parts & Accessories, General Merchandise and Licensed Product knowledge

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
