This position will act as the ACA Accreditation Manager for a caseload of facilities within the Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The American Correctional Association Accreditation Manager will be responsible for maintaining a division-wide auditing method to ensure operational compliance with the standards set forth in the agency's policies and procedures. Responsible for action plans, and after action report criteria to be utilized division wide. The position requires on-site review to confirm adherence through verifications of various records, logs, observations of on-site routine operations and conditions. Interviews of staff and other means of confirmation. This position serves as a member of an audit team that performs audits and provides training in regards to the standards set forth in the agency policies and compliance indicators. This position assists the agency Director of Correctional Policy and Compliance in maintaining agency policies through researching legislation, applicable statutes, rules, standards and case law; consulting with subject-matter experts. The work location for this position will be the Salem Correctional Center and Jail. Travel required. Other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities

Training:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in criminal justice, corrections, social work or related behavioral or social science field. OR Substitution:

Additional full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience as described below may substitute for the required training at a rate of one (1) year of experience for every thirty (30) semester hours of required training. AND Experience:

Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid professional experience in a corrections, probation/parole, law enforcement, social work, recreation, religion or related behavioral or social science field. OR Substitution:

Graduate coursework from an accredited college or university in criminal justice, corrections, social work or related behavioral or social science field may substitute for the required experience at the rate of fifteen (15) semester hours of training for every one (1) year of experience. Note:
