Overview
Tatitlek provides Information Technology Operations and Maintenance Support (ITO & MS) for the BEP's Chief Information Officer (CIO) Directorate; Office of Information Technology Operations (OITO) in support of BEP's printing services mission. These services are provided 24/7. Personnel are responsible for managing, supporting, securing, and maintaining the BEP IT network infrastructure and systems to ensure a sustainable, efficient, and highly reliable environment for government employees and contractors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, oversee, and coordinate projects.
Interact directly with staff and stakeholders, provide regular updates and briefs.
Work closely with product, operations, and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable projects and automation solutions.
Identify opportunities for automation; collaborate to determine highest value tasks and guide automation solutions to reduce manhours on routine tasks.
Improve efficiency, accuracy, and speed in business processes, ultimately leading to increased productivity and reduced costs.
Use PMP methodologies: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum three (3) years of experience managing personnel and/or processes in an IT enterprise environment.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or IT Infrastructure Library certification mandatory.
General understanding and knowledge of the Microsoft computing environment.
Good oral and written communication skills.
H.S. Diploma or GED.
U.S. Citizen.
Clear background with no derogatory financial history.
Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance.
Physical Requirements
Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
Occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs.
Good vision and hearing capabilities.
Work Environment Must be able to work on-site at a facility (Washington DC or Fort Worth TX). Remote work is not authorized. Work is performed in a normal office setting. Ability to work off hours and/or weekends in emergency situations.
Additional Qualifying Factors As a condition of employment, must pass pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable reference and background check results.
