Training: responsible for the training, examination and certification of NDT Level I, II, and II technicians in certified disciplines. Quality: Provide the direction, training, and feedback to the team to ensure quality standards are met. Standards include customer requirements, ISO 9001, AS9100D, NADCAP, FAA. Provide direct support to customers when needed. Provide auditing support to quality department and customers. Delivery: Drive innovation and process improvement to meet or exceed corporate goals/KPIs or customer requirements. Determine root cause for actions that fall short of KPIs and deploy counter‑measures to correct. Technical Expertise: Responsible for establishing and approving techniques and procedures; interpreting codes, standards, specifications, procedures, and customer‑specific requirements; and designating the particular test methods, techniques and procedures to be used. Assist with production, review, revision and correction of documentation including work orders, processing techniques, certifications and quotations. Inventory: Provide feedback to purchasing team so that proper levels of coatings are maintained. Ensure proper rotation of products with expiration. Gross Profit: Manage labor and materials to meet or exceed corporate goals. Process ROIs for capital expenditures. Maintain proper usage of equipment. Process Improvement: Using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques – continuously improve large‑run processes. Document the savings in time and money. Improve year over year. Finance and Budgets: Prepare and work to an approved department budget. Identify problem areas and deploy counter‑measures to mitigate. Prepare ROI paperwork for capital improvement projects including justification. Profile
Need to have certifications in 2 of the 3: MT (Magnetic Particle Testing), PT (Penetrant Testing), and RT (Radiographic Testing). 8+ years of leadership experience in an aerospace or job shop environment. Must be a U.S. person under ITAR regulations. Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Job Offer
