These managers help keep our centers operating efficiently, managing a team of mechanics responsible for the operation of pinsetters, pinspotters, automatic scoring machines, lanes, and other equipment. They’re involved with all center maintenance and repairs, providing leadership to their team and support to the General Manager.
Essential Duties
Manage the center’s day-to-day from a technical perspective, ensuring efficient operation.
Help recruit, hire, train, and schedule B- and C-Mechanics in partnership with the General Manager.
Provide training in machine safety, equipment standards, building maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
Ensure compliance with laws and policies (including OSHA), monitor machine stop records, and schedule routine maintenance of HVAC, roof, plumbing, electrical, life/safety, and other building systems.
Assist in planning and budgeting for repairs and upgrades; obtain bids for repairs and suggest equipment improvements.
Be available for varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and extended workdays.
Desired Skills
5+ years of bowling mechanic experience.
Solid communication skills.
Strong team player.
Experienced staff supervision.
Ability to walk, bend, stand, and lift as necessary.
Work Environment / Physical Demands Typical entertainment environment; walk, bend, stand, and lift with assistance as needed.
