HDR is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our West Region Power Generation team. As a Project Manager, you will support power and energy projects across industrial, institutional, municipal, IPP, and utility sectors. The role involves maintaining client relationships, project development, planning, monitoring, and leading multi-discipline teams to successful project completion. Significant client interaction and strong communication skills are essential, as well as experience with utility-scale power systems, emerging market trends like distributed generation, and complex project management. Responsibilities include: Develop and maintain positive client relationships. Achieve project schedule, quality, and profitability goals. Lead proposal development, review contracts, and evaluate risks. Provide leadership to project teams and technical staff. Ensure clear communication within the team and with clients regarding project deliverables. Monitor and manage project budgets and schedules, developing recovery plans as needed. Manage scope changes and provide training on project management issues. Perform design or consulting work within engineering expertise. Report project progress to relevant stakeholders. Manage multiple projects concurrently. Maintain organizational, project management, and communication excellence. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. At least 7 years of related experience, including 2+ years in project management. Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license. Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project; Access experience is a plus. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong commitment to our employee-owned culture.
