The Senior Manager of Newsletters, Lifestyle, will lead strategy, execution, and innovation for digital newsletters across some of Hearst’s most beloved lifestyle brands—including Cosmopolitan, Country Living, Delish, Good Housekeeping, House Beautiful, The Pioneer Woman, and Prevention. This is a high-impact role for someone ready to drive performance today while building for the future.

Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
Lead the newsletter programs for key lifestyle brands, collaborating with editorial, design, product, marketing, and ESP partners.
Manage the full lifecycle of newsletter production including planning, segmentation, QA, and deployment.
Use data and analytics to guide strategy and optimize newsletter performance, including open rates, CTRs, and subscriber retention.
Regularly report on trends, KPIs, and audience insights to shape future decisions.
Drive experimentation and A/B testing on subject lines, layouts, and content to enhance engagement and monetization.
Develop audience growth strategies through segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing.
Ensure all communications align with brand voice, compliance, and legal standards.
Occasionally work weekends or holidays as needed.
Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)
5–7 years of experience in email or newsletter production; media experience preferred.
Proven success managing email or newsletter campaigns at scale.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights.
Proficiency with tools like Sailthru, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
Experience with project management platforms such as Asana, AirTable, or Trello.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinker with attention to detail and strong design instincts.
Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid role based in NYC, with in-office work required 4 days a week.

The base salary for this role is between
$88,000 - $100,000 . The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
