We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Bim Specialist
to support the execution of BIM and VDC processes across multiple projects in design and construction phases. In this role, you will leverage advanced modeling software to create, manage, and coordinate project models. You will work directly with project managers, design teams, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure digital workflows enhance project delivery and meet quality standards.
This position is an in office position 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Lead model development and coordination using Revit and Navisworks for commercial plumbing systems
Perform clash detection, constructability reviews, and model validation
Integrate point cloud data from 3D scans into BIM workflows for accurate as-built documentation and coordination
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support VDC strategies for planning, logistics, and construction sequencing
Maintain and enforce modeling standards, templates, and best practices in line with company and project-specific requirements
Support the deployment of new VDC technologies and provide mentorship to junior staff and interns
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in a VDC, BIM, or CAD coordination role in the construction or engineering industry
Advanced proficiency in Revit and Navisworks; familiarity with point cloud processing software (e.g., Autodesk Recap, Trimble FieldLink)
Experience with laser scanning and field data collection workflows
Solid understanding of construction sequencing, building systems, and interdisciplinary coordination
HVAC, plumbing, or MEP experience strongly preferred
Ability and willingness to travel regularly to job sites as required
Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
