Established in 1900, Mead & Hunt is a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm that provides consulting services to a variety of industries. We have a full‑time position available for a Senior Proposal Coordinator to work with our transportation infrastructure group. Ideal locations would be Tampa, FL; Lexington, SC; Columbia, MD; North Charleston, SC; Orlando, FL; Raleigh, NC; Washington, DC; Madison, WI.

Responsibilities

Leading the proposal development process, including proposal kickoff meetings, content creation, strategic input for projects and teams, layout and design, and close‑out/archiving

Preparation and guidance on pursuit interviews

Developing marketing materials and content

Leading award submissions

Developing and managing the annual marketing plan schedule and budget for identified business unit(s)

Coordinating business development calls and providing appropriate reports

Organizing and attending tradeshows and conferences

Managing client feedback and satisfaction surveys

Some travel may be required for conferences, events, and team training.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, advertising, public relations, or related field from an accredited college or university and at least four (4) years of relevant experience

Associate degree in marketing or related field from an accredited college or university and at least six (6) years of relevant experience

No degree and at least eight (8) years of relevant experience

Experience in architectural/engineering industry or another technical service industry is a plus

Ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following

Leading proposal submissions (RFP/RFQs) and interview teams

Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; and CRM databases (Vision or AEC360 preferred)

Previous experience in the AEC industry: familiarity with Transportation/Infrastructure

Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills

Excellent grammar and writing skills required (Familiarity with AP Style Guide)

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, continuously changing environment while maintaining tight deadlines

Proven organization, problem‑solving, communication, and interactive skills

Ability to understand and write about technical issues and understand related technical terminology

Salary Range: $73,000 to $97,000 – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
