What You'll Do:

Corporate Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership

Develop and lead the company’s end-to-end supply chain strategy aligned with business growth, cost, and service objectives.

Define and deploy standardized policies, Supply Chain KPIs, and best practices across all manufacturing facilities.

Provide matrix leadership to site supply chain teams to ensure alignment with corporate initiatives.

Partner with Operations, Finance, Sales, and Engineering to drive an integrated, data-driven supply chain model.

Purchasing & Strategic Sourcing

Lead corporate sourcing initiatives for raw materials, components, and indirect spend.

Drive material cost reduction through strategic supplier partnerships, alternate sourcing, and value engineering.

Establish and monitor corporate Purchase Price Variance (PPV) targets and ensure site accountability for cost performance.

Implement supplier scorecards, compliance audits, and performance reviews.

Develop and manage the corporate freight and logistics strategy for inbound, interplant, and outbound shipments.

Negotiate worldwide, national and regional carrier agreements to achieve cost, service, and reliability goals.

Oversee implementation of transportation management systems (TMS) and freight audit controls.

Analyze logistics costs and drive freight optimization projects across all facilities.

Forecasting & SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning)

Lead the corporate SIOP process integrating demand planning, supply planning, and capacity alignment.

Ensure monthly forecast accuracy and visibility across commercial, manufacturing, and procurement teams.

Collaborate with Sales and Operations to balance customer demand with inventory and production capability.

Drive proactive decision-making through data analytics, scenario planning, and supply risk analysis.

Inventory Management & Cycle Counting

Establish corporate inventory policies, including safety stock and reorder parameters.

Oversee cycle counting programs, ensuring accuracy targets are achieved at all sites.

Monitor inventory turns, days on hand, and working capital performance.

Partner with Finance to validate physical versus system inventory alignment and reporting integrity.

Slow-Moving & Obsolete (S&O) Inventory

Define corporate procedures for identifying, reporting, and mitigating slow and obsolete material exposure.

Lead cross-functional reviews with Operations, Engineering, and Sales to disposition or repurpose inventory.

Drive root-cause corrective actions to reduce recurring S&O generation.

Publish S&O performance metrics and financial exposure reports to leadership monthly.

Negotiate and oversee supplier and customer contracts, ensuring alignment with business terms, quality, and delivery expectations.

Maintain a centralized contract repository, tracking key dates, obligations, and compliance requirements.

Partner with Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure all agreements meet corporate risk and profitability guidelines.

Mentor site-level Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Logistics personnel under a matrix reporting structure.

Align plant-level Supply Chain objectives, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives with corporate goals.

Conduct Supply Chain performance reviews with each site to evaluate execution, compliance, and improvement opportunities.

Build organizational capability through training, development, and talent succession planning.

About You:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or APICS/CSCP certification preferred.

10–15 years of progressive supply chain leadership in a manufacturing environment with multi-site accountability.

Proven experience managing purchasing, forecasting, SIOP, logistics, and inventory at a strategic level.

Demonstrated success operating within a matrixed organization and influencing site-level teams.

Strong financial acumen, with experience in PPV, TCO, and working capital optimization.

Deep understanding of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel/data analytics.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills with a focus on collaboration and execution.

Ability to travel 20–30% to domestic and international manufacturing sites and suppliers.
