ABOUT THE POSITION
The Court is seeking a
Management Analyst
to join our team and play a key role in improving court operations, policies, and processes. As a Management Analyst, you will dive into meaningful projects that shape how the Court serves the public, including conducting research, analyzing organizational and policy issues, and developing practical solutions for complex challenges. Management Analysts collaborate with judicial officers, managers, and staff across departments to evaluate systems, interpret data, and deliver recommendations that make a real impact. Conduct research and analysis on court operations, policies, and procedures to develop data-driven insights and recommendations for improving efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with judicial officers, managers, and staff to design studies, gather and interpret data, and evaluate programs or processes across various operational areas. Prepare clear and well-organized reports, presentations, charts, and other materials to communicate findings and support decision-making by Court leadership. Analyze policy and legislative proposals, perform literature reviews, and summarize relevant research to inform Court initiatives and strategic planning. Develop, manage, and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other analytical tools to collect, track, and analyze information. Draft and edit policies, procedures, and other official documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency with Court standards. Represent the Court at meetings, committees, and stakeholder engagements, providing technical assistance and communicating project results. Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment when working with sensitive information and high-level stakeholders. THIS IS A TELEWORK ELIGIBLE OPPORTUNITY
This position may be eligible for partial telework following an initial training period and contingent upon the needs of the Court. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To qualify, you must meet one of the following options at the time of application: OPTION I:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in public administration, public policy, business administration, administration of justice, political science or other closely-related field - and one (1) year of responsible experience defining, researching, analyzing management problems, and issues, and making recommendations for their solution. OPTION II:
Five (5) years of responsible experience defining, researching, analyzing management problems, and issues, and making recommendations for their solution. OPTION III:
Master’s degree in public administration, public policy, business administration, administration of justice, political science or other closely-related field. *To qualify for Options that require educational credentials, you must attach the required documentation to your application. Credit for experience is given based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a part-time ratio (e.g., working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience). Overtime does not count toward additional credit. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Strong analytical and research skills, with experience collecting, evaluating, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data to support sound decision-making. Knowledge of court operations, judicial administration, or public sector processes, including caseflow management and policy development. Proficiency in data analysis tools and standard business software (e.g., Excel, Access, or other database and statistical applications). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and persuasive reports and presentations for diverse audiences. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.
