Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. Per Diem/Variable Shift. Responsibilities

Performs nuclear medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes under the direction of a physician. Prepares patients, administers prescribed dose of radioactive and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, performs calculations and manipulates data according to established parameters. Ensures proper preparation and ordering of radioactive material, calibrates equipment, assures appropriate quality control, monitors patients, and performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist upon hire or Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology within 6 months (180 days) of hire or National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board within 6 months (180 days) of hire. Preferred Qualifications

2 years of clinical experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Benefits
