We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and dedicated Medical Malpractice Litigation Paralegal to join a reputable law firm located in Buckhead.

Job Overview The Litigation Paralegal will be instrumental in supporting attorneys with all phases of the litigation process for complex medical malpractice cases. The ideal candidate is proactive, empathetic, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Draft and file pleadings, including complaints, subpoenas, motions, and other court documents in state and federal courts.

Draft discovery requests and prepare discovery responses; review and organize discovery documents; draft non-party request for documents.

Manage calendars, including scheduling hearings, depositions, mediations, and other case-related events.

Obtain and review medical records, prepare medical summaries, and organize documents for discovery.

Conduct legal research and prepare summaries of deposition transcripts and discovery responses.

Coordinate with expert witnesses and assist in witness preparation.

Communicate with clients and keep them informed of case updates.

Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing trial binders, scheduling witnesses, and supporting trial presentation.

Maintain case files and ensure deadlines are met.

Perform other duties as assigned to ensure case success.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with medical malpractice or personal injury experience preferred.

Strong understanding of the litigation process, including familiarity with medical and legal terminology.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software (NetDocuments preferred).

Paralegal certification strongly desired; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Ability to thrive in a growing, fast-paced, and collaborative work environment.

Full-time position.
