We’re looking for a Construction Quality Control Manager to take ownership of the quality program on major building projects—someone who thrives on precision, teamwork, and building things the right way from day one. This role is about more than inspections. It’s about leading the process that ensures every material, joint, and system meets the highest standards in safety, durability, and performance. You’ll oversee all QA / QC activities, manage testing programs, and collaborate closely with construction teams and trade partners to make sure every phase of the project exceeds expectations. What You’ll Bring

At least 5 years of experience in construction leadership roles such as Quality Control, Superintendent, or Project Manager Solid understanding of building systems, including waterproofing, curtain walls, roofing, and air barriers Experience managing third-party testing firms and subcontractor scopes Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Completion of the Construction Quality Management (CQM) course within the last 5 years or willingness to obtain it within 90 days OSHA 30 certification Preferred Qualifications

7–10+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance for commercial construction projects Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering Proven success managing QA / QC processes on large-scale, complex projects Key Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability Excellent communication and leadership skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently Proficient in document management and quality tracking software A calm, solution-oriented approach and a passion for teamwork What You’ll Do

Develop and implement project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs Establish and monitor quality standards, specifications, and inspection procedures Coordinate inspections, testing, and mockups with trade partners and vendors Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and preinstallation meetings Maintain daily as-built documentation and ensure accurate project records Lead QA / QC meetings, track performance, and drive accountability across all teams Verify compliance with building codes, regulations, and contractual requirements Conduct site investigations and recommend corrective actions or design improvements Oversee environmental and sustainability reporting, including LEED documentation and EPDs Travel & Location

This position is based in Lubbock, Texas, with occasional travel to regional offices or project sites as needed.
