Responsibilities
Supervise production and logistics plans through operators and hourly labor.
Develop and implement plans and policies to ensure comprehensive compliance.
Oversee status of processing, packaging, warehouse, and maintenance functions.
Maintain production lines in accordance with FDA, GMP, HACCP × SQF guidelines.
Address and mitigate operational issues impacting performance.
Support Lean training initiatives under the Operations Manager.
Own regulatory compliance and food safety processes, including hygiene, allergen control, pest control, policy, and MCRS sustainability.
Participate in daily food review and relevant projects.
Provide technical expertise and facilitate product and system improvements.
Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement Manager to develop procedures, review LEAN activities, and develop data systems and reporting.
Audit and enforce LEAN and operational processes.
Deliver LEAN tool training and attend Kaizen sessions to guide plant execution.
Elevate skill levels of Operators and Supervisors through training, leadership, facilitation, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.
Manage budget for long-term process improvement projects, supervised by the Operations Manager.
Act as Operations Manager in absence or as needed.
Qualifications
High School / GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing or related field.
Previous manufacturing experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience working with SAP and understanding of GMP principles.
Process, packing, and mechanical experience strongly preferred.
Proven ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem solving, negotiation, and decision‑making skills.
Independent, self‑sufficient with strong sense of urgency.
Critical thinking and ability to work with employees at all levels.
Compensation Salary range: $112,425 to $167,000 annually, based on experience.
