Base Pay Range $137,439.00/yr - $167,981.00/yr

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a CDI Outsourcing Manager, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with innovative and diverse people around the world, and make an impact by:

Assuming responsibility for assigned outsourced CDI engagements and assisting Consulting Services in achieving revenue goals.

Monitoring and managing relationships with contracted vendors, and facilitating the resolution of issues and conflicts.

Directly supervising and providing expertise to the CDI staff to assure target quality and production levels.

Measuring the effectiveness of CDI operations, identifying areas for improvement, monitoring trends, and developing action plans for any identified problem areas.

Providing direct supervision to assigned CDI through leadership, coaching, training and development, allocating work assignments, reviewing progress, managing employee compensation and performance appraisals, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Your Skills and Expertise – Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or higher (verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND seven (7) years of acute care CDI management experience.

OR High School Diploma/GED AND eleven (11) years of acute care CDI management experience.

CCDS certification or a valid RN license with a minimum of five (5) years of acute‑care experience.

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in HIM, Nursing, or a similar healthcare clinical background.

10+ years in management of CDI or Health Information Management services or 10+ years in management of an outsourced CDI group.

Strong ICD‑10‑CM/PCS coding knowledge, risk‑adjusted methodologies, and quality‑of‑care measures experience.

Deep understanding of clinical documentation, medical record coding, healthcare billing, and revenue cycle management.

Excellent attention to detail, highly organized, ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and produce high‑quality results.

Work Location Remote

Travel May include up to 50% domestic travel.
