Job Posting Title: Treatment Coordinator for Dental/Medical Office | Scottsdale/Sedona, AZ
The Opportunity: We are a growing oral surgery practice in Scottsdale and Sedona, dedicated to exceeding our patients’ expectations through personalized care and exceptional service. With the addition of a new oral surgeon, we are expanding our team and seeking a Treatment Coordinator who is excited to play a key role in delivering outstanding experiences to every patient.
Working hours for this full-time position are Monday 8:00am-12:00pm, Tuesday Sedona Day 5:30am -6:30pm, Wednesday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. As a team, we travel together to Sedona 1 day/week and see patients in the Scottsdale office 3 days/week.

Key Responsibilities As our Treatment Coordinator, you’ll be the welcoming face and voice of the practice, guiding patients smoothly through their care journey. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Creating exceptional first impressions
– Deliver outstanding customer service on the phone and in person so every patient feels welcome, supported, and confident in choosing our practice.
Managing communication
– Answer and route incoming calls while ensuring patients receive timely and helpful responses.
Coordinating schedules
– Organize and manage appointments to keep the practice running efficiently.
Guiding financial discussions
– Prepare and present surgical financial agreements with clarity and compassion, helping patients feel comfortable and informed about their treatment options.
Coordinating treatment plans
– Partner with the surgeon and clinical team to review treatment recommendations and ensure patients fully understand their options.
Facilitating follow-up care
– Schedule and track follow-up visits, confirm appointments, and coordinate with referring offices to maintain seamless communication.
Please note:
Prior treatment coordination experience in a dental or oral surgery setting is
required .
Qualifications Required Skills for this Role:
Must feel comfortable with basic math skills (addition, subtraction, and multiplication).
Must be friendly and be able to maintain a smile and positive attitude in high-pressured environments.
Superior organizational skills.
Ability to take initiative and work independently.
Must be a team player and work well with others.
Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize tasks.
Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office.
Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years
in dental experience in dentistry is
required , and oral surgery is a plus!
2+ years
of treatment coordination experience at a dental or oral surgery practice is
required .
Knowledge of CDT, CPT, ICD-10, coding systems is strongly recommended.
