The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for helping manage Kanban, and coordinate activities between Materials Planners, Buyers, and Supply Chain at Rexnord’s Aerospace Division. The primary focus is to align order requirements with operational resources through scheduling and inventory allocation procedures such that customer requirements are met in the most timely and economical manner. This position is responsible for assisting with overall planning and consumption of inventory as it relates to the production plan. Generates and maintains status reports and provides information as needed to support the cross functional team and meet On-Time-Delivery to Rexnord customers.

Major Responsibilities

Create and maintain the primary line sheets (Excel).

Work with Schedulers, Material Buyers and Supervision to keep them informed with current and accurate information

Notify the Schedulers and Planners when a work center is overloaded or behind

Create and maintain the Capacity Planning Report (Oracle and Excel)

Work with supervision to ensure manpower and machine information is accurate

Support Daily Kanban

Retrieve consumed Kanban cards from Semi-Stock

Check with Component Proceser to set priorities

Verify UNF stock availability

Create production orders (Oracle)

Maintain past due information on the Daily Management Summary report (Excel)

Review and sort the Daily Backlog report for needed information

Attend daily production meetings

Assist Schedulers with various tasks as needed (Excel, Oracle, NOMADS, Ultriva)

Train in Right to Know and emergency evacuation plans

Follow Regal Ethics and Safety Programs

Adhere to all Export, Import and Supply Chain Security Policy requirements relevant to the position

Follow State and Federal Environmental Compliance Programs

Adhere to ISO 9000 Standards

Job duties include but are not limited to the above

Utilize, support, and implement process improvements utilizing lean concepts. i.e. 6s, defect reduction, effective daily management, process improvement techniques.

Required Education / Experience / Skills

Education:

High School Diploma

Experience:

0-2 years in production and inventory control.

Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Access)

Detail oriented and data driven

Demonstrated problem solving skills using lean methodologies

Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills with all levels of employees and management.
