Manager, Product Management Job Description Summary

Make an impact as a Pre‑Sales Consultant within our global SME team. This role is in the Commercialization team of Mastercard’s Global SME division. Our team works closely with product managers who are designing and building technology that makes a meaningful difference to small business owners. We bring them innovation to help grow their businesses, which in turn benefits their communities through more employment and prosperity. Our Commercialization team focuses on designing and delivering go‑to‑market strategies that take the latest innovations from our colleagues in Product Management and get them into the hands of Mastercard cardholders, globally and as rapidly as possible. We define value & commercial propositions, generate the internal and external materials to present the products, navigate the internal processes (pricing, infosec, regulatory, legal etc.), energize regional sales teams to generate demand from their financial services accounts, and win new business through supporting deals with demos, legal & commercial negotiation and ultimately building customers’ trust in Mastercard. Core Responsibilities

Cross‑functional collaboration with internal stakeholders – work with product management to influence roadmaps and with pricing, legal, privacy, security etc. to ensure products are mature and fit for global usage. Collaborate with regional sales teams and their accounts – use your financial services industry knowledge to act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through the decision‑making process, building pipeline and winning new business. Product expertise – maintain deep knowledge of Mastercard’s products and the payments industry. Solution design & demonstration – build and present customized demos that showcase how Mastercard’s products deliver value to issuers, acquirers and fintech partners. All About You

Experience in enterprise software solution/sales or consulting. Industry knowledge – background in financial services and the payments industry. Communication – strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value. Ability to work collaboratively in dynamic, cross‑functional environments. Have an entrepreneurial mindset and a winning attitude. Travel – willingness to travel as needed.
