Sr. Associate/Executive Director, Athletics Lobo Club

Position Summary
The University of New Mexico is seeking an Executive Director of the Lobo Club to be a member of the UNM Athletic Department. The Executive Director will report to the Deputy Athletic Director and serve on the Senior Leadership team of the Athletic Department. He/She will manage and oversee the University's strategic fundraising efforts for the Athletic Department.
Responsibilities
Oversees all facets of the daily operation of the unit.
Establishes and implements short and long-range goals, objectives, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates operational effectiveness and effects changes required for improvement.
Leads, directs and coordinates multifaceted fundraising activities, including annual campaigns, stewardship activities, cultivation of major gifts exceeding $25,000, alumni engagement programming; serves as the designated liaison with the Lobo Club Board of Directors and the UNM Foundation.
Identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards major gift donors and prospects including individual, corporations, and/or foundations.
Conditions of Employment
Employees in this job title are subject to the terms and conditions of an employment contract. Employment contracts are typically subject to review and renewal on an annual basis.
Compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations is required in this position.
Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's preferred.
7 years of progressive experience in NCAA Division I athletics, or directly related area.
