Overview We are seeking a
Board-Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicist
to support clinical radiation therapy operations. The ideal candidate will participate in treatment planning support, equipment QA, safety procedures, and dosimetry validation to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform routine
QA
and calibration on treatment equipment and imaging devices.
Support IMRT/VMAT, SRS/SBRT, DIBH, SGRT, and IGRT workflows.
Validate treatment plans and dose distributions in collaboration with dosimetry and radiation oncology staff.
Ensure compliance with
AAPM guidelines , radiation safety regulations, and departmental policies.
Maintain accurate documentation and QA records.
Qualifications
MS or PhD
in Medical Physics, Physics, or a related field.
ABR Board Certification
in Therapeutic Medical Physics.
Minimum 2 years
of recent clinical experience in radiation oncology.
Experience with:
Varian TrueBeam
systems ( TG-142 )
IGRT / Cone Beam CT
Eclipse and/or Pinnacle Treatment Planning Systems
( TG-53 )
ARIA and/or MOSAIQ
workflow environments
IMRT QA
using MapCHECK I/II or similar tools
GE CT Simulation
( TG-66 )
