Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical equipment
Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
Repair or replace defective machinery parts
Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
Install machinery and equipment
Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Qualifications
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Technical skills: Ability to operate machining tools, hoisting equipment, interpret blueprints
