Co‑op Description PCC Airfoils, LLC, headquartered in Greater Cleveland, Ohio, is a world leader in the fast‑paced, high‑tech industry of investment casting. Each of the thirteen (13) Airfoils’ locations plays an integral part in the manufacture of blades, vanes and components for use in gas turbine engines. PCC’s parts are found on virtually all commercial aircraft, military aircraft and industrial gas turbine applications.

Position Purpose To provide work assignments which align with student interests and goals, and to develop experienced and talented candidates for PCC technical positions. Work assignments will be reviewed during the co‑op period, and where feasible, modified to better align with student interests, goals, and capabilities.

Responsibilities

Learn and become more proficient at technical tasks.

Augment education with work experience.

Work with Help Desk issues to gain a basic understanding of the business environment, technology, applications, and users.

Develop and implement C#, VB6, and/or SQL‑based applications and reports based on co‑op requests.

Qualifications

Full‑time student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / CIS.

Good understanding of .Net, C#, and SQL.

Good understanding of logic, Boolean algebra, etc.

Good understanding of basic PC and network hardware and printers.

Basic understanding of Crystal Reports (a plus).

Good analytical skills to analyze a system and understand how it works.

Highly motivated and results‑oriented.

An aggressive approach to problem solving.
