Bachelor of Computer Science Job Description
FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Database Analyst Seniors in Jacksonville, FL to be responsible for database encryption (both in transit and at rest) using OEM tools. Perform database replay Oracle data replication experience with Data Guard, Active Data Guard, and Goldengate. Work with Oracle Grid Control for monitoring, configuration and deployment. Integrate/collaborate with application development and support teams on various DBA projects. Design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements. Participate in software design meetings to determine technical requirements and provide proactive solutions to the financial card system products. In depth knowledge of volume growth and remediation for healthy systems. Develop database solutions and strategies for future technology roadmap. Optimize database performance, scalability, and reliability through effective database design, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques. Ensure database compliance per PCI compliance. Implement database performance tuning and optimization (table partitioning, tablespace disk management, table fragmentation). Participate in process of creation of efficient normalized and denormalized table definitions. Implement Oracle DB security. Participate in backup and restore process design and database analysis report. Support Exadata, MS Azure, Goldengate technologies. Collaborate with Payment Software application team for any issues and project teams for any new initiatives. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: utilizing Oracle Database Administration for installations, upgrades, backups, recoveries, and performance tuning; configuring storage disks; monitoring usage and installing with Cloud Technologies (Azure) and configuring Oracle databases; setting up bi‑directional data replication between 2 availability zones with Golden Gate Replication; setting up disaster recovery solution with RPO and RTO with Oracle Dataguard; utilizing Oracle Exadata/ZFS for Appliance patching / database install & configuration; working with Oracle Zero Data Loss to meet database recovery point objectives & recovery time objectives; and supporting payment applications with Postgres SQL.
