Corporate Recruiter (Temp)
Position Overview
The Corporate Recruiter (Temp) is a strategic partner that will work closely with Burlington Leadership, Human Resources and Hiring Managers to successfully source, screen, interview, and place top-quality candidates into key positions. This person will promote the “Our Burlington” talent brand across numerous social media channels and professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process. This individual will perform full lifecycle recruiting for corporate functions, including Technology, Finance, and other business areas, while maintaining excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and the community.
A Day In The Life
Sourcing – Utilize diverse channels including in-person, digital and social media for candidate sourcing. Possess a strong competency of sourcing platforms, especially LinkedIn Recruiter.
Pipelining – Proactively identify passive and diverse talent using creative methods to engage top candidates who may not be actively seeking a new role. Actively manage that candidate list by establishing regular contact points to keep talent engaged.
Placing/Hiring/Closing – Maintain postings within ATS (Workday), extend and negotiate candidate offers and ensure candidate is ready for their first day.
Understanding the business – Spend time with leaders and professionals to understand their business units, including nuances that will improve our screening and selection processes. Actively participate in the internal talent management and succession planning process with HR Business Partners.
Provides consultative approach to recommending recruiting strategies.
Create and foster relationships with diverse professional organizations and universities to attract and recruit a diverse pool of candidates.
You’ll Come With
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 - 7 years of experience as a Full Life Cycle Recruiter. Background supporting corporate functions with a variety of skill sets and experience recruiting for leadership openings at the Manager and Director level. Technology recruitment experience preferred.
Working knowledge of an ATS, such as Workday.
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Professional demeanor and strong business acumen. Ability to see beyond the tactical, to understand how the recruiting function impacts the overall health of the business.
This is a temporary assignment running approximately 6+ months.
