Come aboard the ARK as a Low Voltage Installer – COMMERCIAL The Commercial Low Voltage Installer is responsible for installing various electronic systems.
Duties/Responsibilities
Installation of control panels, panel and system wiring, conduit and raceway and field device terminations.
Coordinating daily scheduling with the customer on-site.
Daily communication with project manager.
Maintaining drawings and/or schematics.
Perform troubleshooting as required
Conducts quality assurance.
Timely completion of associated documentation.
Basic panel programming and setup/ testing.
Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of alarm system requirements and the ability to interpret code books and handbooks.
Able to utilize a laptop with system application software, etc.
Excellent customer service and ability to work well with others
Education and Experience
COMMERCIAL Experience required
Field electrical and/or electronic practical experience required.
3-5 years of related industry experience.
Valid driver’s license
Able to obtain Maryland and Virginia security technician license as required. Paid for by ARK.
Physical Requirements
Physically able to climb overhead or crawl under spaces to complete jobs
Must be willing to work at heights
Must be able to operate electrical tools
Must be able to differentiate color coding of cables
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
