This position involves inspecting, installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across commercial and industrial environments. All work must comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC), Colorado state licensing standards, and Department of Defense (DoD) safety protocols. Strong technical skills and the ability to perform in a secure, mission‑critical setting are required.

Typical Duties

Lead and perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems including lighting, motors, generators, and intercoms.

Provide field-based technical guidance, mentoring, and support to electricians and maintenance staff.

Plan and execute electrical work using blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

Install and repair outlets, switches, circuit breakers, sensors, and lighting components in compliance with NEC standards.

Operate lift equipment and perform tasks at heights, in confined spaces, and under adverse weather conditions.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and material usage while ensuring proper wire identification and connections.

Uphold safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain professionalism across all tasks and interactions.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical systems.

Valid Colorado Journeyman Electrician License in good standing.

Advanced understanding of NEC standards, electrical diagnostics, and system troubleshooting.

Experience working on federal or military installations preferred.

Ability to lead by example and support team development through field‑based mentoring.

Physical Requirements

May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.

Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

Requirements

A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
