Hey Baton Rouge MONARCH is NOW HIRING for an Apartment Maintenance Manager/Supervisor that is HVAC Certified! A driver’s license, EPA certification, HVAC certification are required for this role.
PAY:
$25-30 an hour (depending on experience) PLUS bonuses equal up to $4k a year SCHEDULE:
M-F 8-5pm schedule with some shared on-call (1x every 2 weeks) LOCATION:
21 South at Parkview Apartments, 264 apartments
This is a hands‑on maintenance supervisor position responsible for property inspections, make readies, work orders, general maintenance including HVAC repair, developing and leading a team, supply ordering, and vendor scheduling. The role ensures that the physical aspects of the property meet established standards.

What We Need
Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
Make ready/turning units in between tenants
Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
Work hand‑in‑hand with the Property Manager on a monthly budget review
Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program
Exterior structural maintenance as needed
Manage coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone
Pool maintenance (where applicable)
Assist in capital projects including but not limited to rehab and/or major repairs
Assist in managing 3rd‑party vendors, including gathering 3 bids for projects
What You Need
2+ years’ experience in maintenance, including 2+ years in multi‑family housing
HVAC and EPA certification required
CPO certification strongly preferred
Experience managing/supervising 3+ employees
Drywalling, painting and carpentry skills
Working knowledge of plumbing, including sweating copper pipe
Working knowledge of electrical, including outlets, switches and light fixtures
Working knowledge to repair and/or diagnose appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and garbage disposals
Water heater knowledge (both electric and gas)
