Job Summary eClerx is seeking an equity derivatives operations associate to support a new program for one of our premier clients, a leading global investment bank. The successful candidate will be part of the newly established Derivative Confirmation (DC) Service Team for Equity Structured Derivatives. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing confirmations, applying MCA language, resolving discrepancies, and responding to client and business queries. The role includes a six‑month structured training program, during which the candidate will collaborate with SMEs, team leads and peers to ensure training, delivery and performance targets for the DC Service Team are met. The role will be based in New York with the expectation of working from the office at least 2 days per week.

Responsibilities
Confirmations drafting and reviewing clients’ drafted confirmations. See table of Equity Derivatives structures in scope for this role.
Training will be available for transaction types and systems usage.
Prior knowledge of majority of these transaction types is preferred.
Responding to queries arising from the reconciliation of risk systems to pre‑trade and post‑trade documentation within a tight T+1 timeframe.
Supporting the end‑to‑end processing of the DC Servicing team and the Confirmation lifecycle generally.
Drafting and (where applicable) negotiating of Master Confirmation Agreements ("MCA").
Handling non‑complex queries relating to the language and provisions used within each confirmation.
In 4‑eye controls, perform the checker role before confirmations are released to clients.
Eligibility Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field.
Minimum 3‑8 years of experience in equity derivatives operations with specific experience in confirmations drafting.
Working knowledge and drafting experience of the transaction families and types defined above.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders and locations.
Demonstrated problem‑solving and business analysis skills, i.e. the ability to structure an approach to work through and solve complex and ambiguous challenges.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Salary : In the US, the target base salary for this role is $90,000–$115,000.
