Location Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, NC. Remote location in Fayetteville area.

Position Summary The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health seeks a Clinical Psychologist to join our Trauma Program and enhance our clinical mission. This position is funded by an existing DoD grant and requires the applicant to live near Fayetteville, NC.

Responsibilities

Advance an externally funded research program.

Publish research in peer‑reviewed journals.

Mentor trainees at all levels.

Participate in division, department, college, and university committees and initiatives.

Engage in randomized clinical trials, trauma‑specialized therapies, and intervention/efficacy research.

Provide short‑term individual psychotherapy, diagnostic assessment, documentation, and workshop planning/presentation (75%).

Case management with JSOC behavioral health clinicians; professional development and continuing education (15%).

Perform other related duties as required (10%).

Qualifications

Advanced clinical degree (PsyD or Ph.D.) in Psychiatry or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.

Licensure suitability in the State of North Carolina.

Strong record of clinical experience with PTSD, military servicemembers, and veterans.

Experience developing, leading, or contributing to research, education, and clinical programs.

Expertise in randomized clinical trials, military populations, trauma‑specialized therapies, and intervention/efficacy research is particularly encouraged.

Defense clearance: Top Secret (TS) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.

Compliance with DoD grant screening and vetting procedures.
