Position We are looking for Construction Superintendent candidates to join our Field Operations team for projects in Jacksonville, FL and throughout the Southeast US.
Superintendents are responsible for the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of all construction work activities, assigned employees, and subcontractors on a project job site.
They must safely produce quality work within project requirements (RFP, plans, specifications, proposal documents), targeted budget, schedule, and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Candidates local to projects will be given priority; relocation to on‑site management may be required.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily construction activities and coordinate with employees and subcontractors.
Ensure work meets RFP, plans, specifications, and proposal documents.
Maintain project budget and schedule; align with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Coordinate safety, quality control, and production across all phases of construction.
Relocate as necessary to on‑site management positions.
Pay and Benefits Pay:
$110,000 – $150,000 per year Benefits:
Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with match
Requirements
A high school diploma or GED (minimum formal education).
College courses or degree in construction management, engineering, etc. preferred.
Five or more years of supervisory experience in a Superintendent position, with at least four years of field or trade work experience.
Experience on medium‑to large‑size Design‑Build projects preferred.
Proficiency in Primavera 3/6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit preferred.
CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30‑hour Certifications, EM‑385, and STS required (training can be provided).
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc. required.
Spanish-English bilingual skills desirable.
LEED GA/AP Credential desirable.
