What you will do
Manage the complete design of structural bridge projects.
Work in a fast‑paced environment with longstanding, trusted clients requiring on‑site investigations, bridge load ratings, and coordination.
Build and lead a bridge design group in the Orlando office.
Produce design calculations and construction drawings.
Review contractor submittals and coordinate with inspection subconsultants during construction.
Participate in business development activities.
Handle project budgets and schedules.
Coordinate effort with clients, in‑house engineers, and subconsultants.
Train and supervise less experienced engineers and designers.
What you will need
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or an ABET‑accredited equivalent.
Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering or an ABET‑accredited equivalent preferred.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Florida, or ability to obtain one within 6 months of start.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in bridge/structural design.
Experience supervising structural design and plan production.
Effective communication skills with staff and clients.
Basic understanding of MicroStation is a plus.
