Dispensing Nurse-LVN/LPN or LPT

Part Time Dispensing Nurse - LPN / LVN MedMark Treatment Center is seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to dispense prescribed medications as part of a treatment team collaborating with Physicians and Nursing Supervisors. The dispensing nurse will also maintain dispensing equipment, manage medication inventory, and report patient treatment information. An ideal candidate works cooperatively with supervisory counseling staff and demonstrates a non-judgmental, accepting attitude toward individuals with Substance Use Disorder. Responsibilities : Administer daily medication to patients according to program policies and medical protocols. Operate automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps, and maintain dispensing equipment. Maintain accurate records and reports as required by company policies, federal, and state regulations. Ensure security standards for controlled substances are met, following the Code of Federal Regulations. Order, receive, and stock medications in compliance with DEA and state regulations (if authorized). Provide daily patient assessments. Assist the Nursing Supervisor in orienting new nursing staff. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications : Current and in good standing LPN/LVN license in California. In California, a Psychiatric Technician license may substitute for a nursing license. Current CPR certification. Proficiency with EMR and computers preferred. Experience in chemical dependency treatment is a plus; candidate should be self-motivated, positive, and supportive of individuals in substance abuse treatment. Satisfactory drug screening and criminal background check. Salary Range:

$27.91 to $28.91 per hour The actual salary will depend on experience, education, training, and other factors.
