Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital is seeking a qualified physician to join our growing Pediatric Hospitalist team in Falls Church, Virginia.
Our Pediatric hospitalists provide 24/7 in-house coverage of the pediatric medical unit, daily coverage of the newborn nursery (no delivery attendance), and consultative services to our surgical colleagues. They also provide care to both general and medically complex pediatric populations and serve as educators and mentors for residents, medical students, and other team members. Our program is anchored in a 226-bed, full-service children’s hospital with a strong residency and medical student education mission.

Minimum Requirements
Education : MD or DO from an accredited university medical school, completed ACGME residency training and subsequent fellowship, board eligible or board certified
Licensure : Current or eligibility for an unrestricted Virginia state medical license and DEA
Payer Credentialing : Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and ability to enroll as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payer Medical Staff Credentialing : Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
