Base pay range

$22.00/hr - $24.00/hr

A global, industry-leading company has an opening for an Accounting Clerk (Temp) to join their team in Avon, MA. The Accounting Clerk will report to the VP of Accounting and will have the primary responsibility of supporting AP and payroll documentation, organization, and process cleanup. The Accounting Clerk will also get involved with data entry, scanning, and helping automate manual processes.
$22-24/hr DOE

The role requires someone to be local to the Boston area and will be onsite 5 days per week in Avon, MA.

Job Description

• Shadow the accounting team and document SOPs for AP and payroll
• Organize and maintain physical and digital accounting files
• Scan invoices and upload them into the ERP system (Viewpoint)
• Assist with automating manual paper processes related to payroll and union reporting
• Support clean-up of accounting records and data entry tasks

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or relevant internship experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• System-savvy with ability to learn new tools quickly (experience with ERP systems a plus)
• Comfortable handling repetitive or routine tasks with accuracy
• Prior exposure to accounts payable or accounting functions preferred
