Overview Join to apply for the Transportation Dock Lead role at Newrest . Drive Precision, Lead the Dock — Be the Backbone of On-Time Flight Service. Newrest is looking for a Dock Lead in our Transportation department who will be responsible for ensuring on-time flight completion on the dock based on the checklist provided. Responsibilities Receive daily assignment by Dock manager on duty (Mainline Lead / Express Lead / Kitchen Arrival Team Lead) Provide flight assignment paperwork to incoming drivers given from KAT Lead Be in constant communication with the Dispatch office if there need to be changes made to any driver assignments Collect FAR from Dispatch based on agreed timelines set for Dispatch Communicate any missing items/equipment to the concerned department Are responsible for flight completion on the dock, based on Checklists (placement of equipment per spec, flights paired correctly on docks, etc.) Ensure that DRT are met by pushing and completing flights on time Constantly check staging areas (Final fridge and Liquors) to meet DRT Monitor all Mainline/International inbound trucks and make sure they are offloaded promptly and prevent bottle necks Ensure drivers are disposing of trash in the correct bins and help move carts and other equipment if needed into the dish area Track drivers Kitchen Arrival Time (KAT) Assign outbound dock # for the next assignment based on Dock Lead instruction. Organize inbounds area and front parking lot Follow drivers offloading efficiency Qualifications Ability to read, write, and speak in English Flexibility to work any schedule based on operational needs a must Ability to communicate effectively with all cultures Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Has good attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods of time Satisfactory attendance, diligence, punctuality, reliability Education/Experience Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Food and Beverage Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
