Unit:
45-bed ER with trauma, cardiac, and psychiatric care
Assignment Duration:
13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/16/2026)
Shifts:
12-hour days, 3 shifts/week (36 hours/week)
Estimated Weekly Salary Range:
$1680-$1800
Scheduling:
Mix of AM and PM shifts; minimum 4 Saturday/Sundays in 6 weeks (2 weekends total)
Charting System:
Epic EMR
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Minimum 2.5 years of Emergency Department experience in a large urban hospital
Trauma nursing experience preferred
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC
Proficient in cardiac monitor interpretation
Experience caring for high-acuity patients (ESI Level I)
ER Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care to pediatric and adult populations in a busy Emergency Room
Stabilize and manage trauma, stroke, STEMI, and other high-acuity cases
Administer critical care drips (Nicardipine, Propofol, Fentanyl, Norepinephrine, Nitro, Versed, Precedex)
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Participate in rapid assessment and vertical space care
Maintain professional nursing standards and adhere to hospital protocols
Float to nearby Emergency Rooms (Boise or Nampa Medical Centers) as needed
Complete unit-specific orientation after hospital and Epic training
