PICU RN - Days - EoW - every other holiday (Christmas will most likely be first holiday)
2YR+ experience required; will accept first-time travelers
License/cert: MD RN, BLS, PALS required; CPI preferred
Ratio: routinely,1:2 ; 1:3 for IMC patients
Weekends: every other weekend required
Holidays: every other weekend
Floating: required within the specialty, including NICU, Peds ED, Ped Progressive Care Unit
On-call: not required
Patient Diagnoses: congenital cardiac defects, congenital cardiology (HB, Pacer dependent, AICD),
Cardiac Cath recovery, DKA, respiratory diseases (asthma, viral), surgical (neuro, ortho, ENT),
medically fragile, chronic complex trach/vent/gtube, behavioral health
Special Procedures/Unit Details: *PICU 80 % and some NICU 20% patients - some NICU experience can be accommodated ,CRRT, mechanical ventilation management, ABG interpretation, vasopressor titration, care for the trach patient
