Number of Beds:

Staff:
52 total; night shift includes 1 charge nurse/CNC, 6 RN/LVN floor nurses, 2-3 nurse techs, and sitters as needed
Shift:
12-hour night shifts (7P-7A)
Hours per Week:
36
Assignment Duration:
13 weeks (Start: 11/10/2025 – End: 2/9/2026)
Weekend Rotation:
Required
Dress Code:
Royal blue scrubs
Estimated Weekly Salary:
$1360-$1460
Telemetry RN Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent IMCU/Telemetry nursing experience (including chest tubes, BiPAP, trach care)
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
Proficient in cardiac monitoring and cardiac interventions
Experience with critical drips (Heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Lasix, Bumex, Insulin)
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to float to MedSurg/IMCU units as needed
EMR experience with Meditech preferred
Cardiovascular (CV) nursing experience preferred
Telemetry RN Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality patient care in the Cardiovascular Intermediate Care Unit (CV IMU)
Monitor and manage cardiac patients, including post-procedure care (TAVR, Watchman, heart cath, PCI, CABG, pacemakers, ablations)
Administer and titrate critical drips and medications
Assist with and perform procedures such as cardioversion
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff members
Float to other nursing units as required by facility needs
