Travel CT Tech - $3,199 per week in Long Beach, CA

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years License: CA License required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), Venipuncture License Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in a CT Tech role - Ability to float within the facility based on census - First-time travelers accepted with required experience Description: Fast-paced and high-volume CT department with 2 CT scanners. Both Canon (64 and 320 slice) are used. Tech Assistant available and a minimum of 2 designated Techs per shift. Patient age groups include neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Required skills include adult acute care, outpatient services, and emergency department experience. Candidates must perform a variety of CT scans including abdomen, chest, pelvis, and vascular studies. Preparation and administration of contrast media are needed. Clienttion safety and venipuncture skills are required. Experience in trauma and pediatric care is preferred. 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction skills are essential. Documentation will be done using EPIC. Must adhere to safety protocols and perform in a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
