This role involves performing high-quality diagnostic mammograms in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, patient-focused, and experienced in delivering compassionate imaging care. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic mammography procedures including screening and diagnostic exams Ensure image quality and proper positioning in accordance with ACR and FDA guidelines Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support timely and accurate diagnoses Adhere to safety and infection control protocols Required Qualifications ARRT (M) certification ARRT (R) certification Active California Radiologic Technologist license BLS certification Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography Preferred Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in a travel assignment or adaptable to new clinical environments Familiarity with digital mammography systems and PACS Facility Overview This assignment is based in a well-regarded imaging center in Novato, CA, known for its commitment to patient care and diagnostic excellence.
