Job Summary
The David Eccles School of Business is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and goal‑driven Recruiting & Admissions Specialist to support our Master of Business Administration and specialized Master’s programs:
- Master of Accounting
- Master of Business Creation

- Master of Science in Cybersecurity Management
- Master of Science in Finance
- Master of Science in Information Systems
In this role, you will lead proactive recruitment efforts, build strong relationships with prospective students, and drive enrollment growth for our programs. You will guide candidates through the admissions process, manage application pipelines, and provide critical administrative support to ensure a smooth and engaging experience from first contact to enrollment.
Recruiting Responsibilities
- Prospective Student Outreach: Engage with prospective students (domestic and global) through phone, Zoom, in‑person, and email to generate interest.
- Lead Management: Gather, track, and manage leads from events and outreach using Salesforce and maintain updated lead lists to drive application submissions.
- One‑on‑One Engagement: Conduct personalized meetings to discuss educational goals, review application materials, and provide tailored guidance.
- Application Follow‑Up: Encourage completion and offer ongoing support to students who have begun applications.
- Partnership Development: Collaborate with higher‑education institutions and employer partners to organize informational events.
- Event Coordination: Plan and participate in events such as graduate fairs, information sessions, on‑campus preview days, and webinars, handling all logistics.
Admissions Responsibilities
- Application Coordination & Review: Oversee the entire application process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all submitted materials.
- Personalized Counseling: Provide one‑on‑one guidance to prospective students for navigating admissions and understanding program details.
- Onboarding Support: Work with Student Affairs to facilitate new‑student onboarding.
- Graduate Admissions Collaboration: Resolve application issues, assist with international student visas, and ensure a seamless process.
- Scholarship Management: Identify and award scholarships to eligible candidates.
- Data Integrity: Maintain accurate Salesforce records, perform regular data cleanup, and ensure historical accuracy.
- Team Support: Provide additional support as needed to support admissions and onboarding processes.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work environment: Office (nearly continuously).
- Physical: Sitting, hearing, listening, talking (nearly continuously); repetitive hand motion, walking (often); bending, reaching, lifting up to 25 lbs (seldom).
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 2‑4 years of related experience, or equivalent (one year education can substitute for two years work).
Preferences
- Bachelor’s with 1‑2 years sales, customer service, or similar fast‑paced relationship roles.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication with presentation track record.
- Strong competitive drive, excellent time‑management for multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail, meticulous documentation.
- Independent decision‑making and problem‑solving.
- Organizational ability and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems preferred.
