Base salary range for General Manager between $156,000 and $234,000 annually

This role oversees multiple tissue manufacturing plants located in the United States. Frequent travel is required.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement a manufacturing strategy aligned with the group’s vision and industry best practices.
Drive operational integration and synergy across business units.
Contribute to the transformation of business processes and ensure their deployment within the units.
Operational Management
Ensure optimal execution of operations, including safety, production capacity, cost control, and quality standards.
Oversee annual budgeting for volumes, revenues, costs, and capital expenditures (CAPEX).
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Lead optimization and investment projects to enhance operational efficiency and asset performance.
Implement and monitor key performance indicators (OEE, efficiency, availability).
Talent & Team Development
Engage, coach, and develop plant leadership teams.
Build high-performing, collaborative teams.
Promote a safe & people-centered, customer-focused culture.
Qualifications
Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, including 10+ years in senior leadership roles.
Proven track record managing operations with revenues exceeding $100M.
Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze performance metrics and economic indicators.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to operational excellence.
Excellent communication, diplomacy, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent), Lean, Six Sigma (an asset).
Fluent in English (mandatory) and French (considered a plus).
