Understating the Role The Vice President, Regional Operations is responsible for the overall operational efficiency of the region, including office operations, executive partnerships, business systems, staffing, and team engagement. They are a direct partner to the EVP, S&O, West on ensuring a high functioning regional operation.

Responsibilities Strategic Operational Performance

Work with Managing Partner and EVP, S&O to develop and execute operational effectiveness and efficiency strategies in alignment with goals

Collaborate with the Regional Finance Business Manager to ensure target margin performance and staffing efficacy

Collaborate with the Regional Contracts Coordinator to ensure fast-paced transition of deal prospects into secured clients

Foster a culture of controllership through adoption of shared protocols, processes, and systems

Collaborate with corporate and regional leadership to identify and pursue additional high-impact operational priorities

Department Management

Directly manage leaders overseeing the Executive Partnerships, Business Systems, and Staffing / Engagement verticals

Provide hands‑on coaching to ensure high functioning teams

Manage weekly meetings with direct reports and ad‑hoc skip‑level and department meetings

Manage mid‑year S&O professional development conversations and support focal reviews

Consult with the EVP, S&O on personnel matters (hiring, firing, PIPs, etc.)

Functional Priorities

Lead director, project onboarding, and Engagement Manager staffing updates and decision making in executive leadership sessions, in partnership with EVP, S&O; facilitate associated follow up and tracking

Partner with the EVP, S&O to monitor gross margin trends, identify models to replicate and deviations to address

Ensure all regional operations are guided by best‑in‑class systems, with common playbooks, guiding strategies, and protocols

Lead in deploying and optimizing all firm‑wide systems

Partner with the EVP, Enterprise S&O to successfully deploy new systems and SOPs

Find efficiencies in operational deployment to maximize activities and impact

Collaborate with the EVP, S&O on non‑compensation expense budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing planning

Advise on Deal and Client expense budgeting frameworks and tracking

Lead in the design of regional engagement initiatives, including team committees, calls, and retreats; partner with the team on execution

Leverage firm‑wide KPIs and complement them with regional KPIs to ensure impact of all initiatives underway

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in business operations or focus in executive partnerships, revenue operations, systems and database management, or a similar vertical

3‑5 years of experience in a management or leadership capacity

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field

Expertise in streamlining workflows, improving operational efficiency, and implementing scalable systems and SOPs

Ability to track and report on Key Performance Indicators

Strong financial literacy with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management

Comfort leading organizational change, including technology adoption

Proficiency using analytics and dashboards to inform decisions and recommendations

Comfort presenting to and gaining buy‑in from senior leaders

Familiarity with NetSuite or other business management tool

Experience with Navan or other travel and expense platforms a plus

Experience negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships a plus

Salary Range $110,000 - $150,000

The exact salary varies within range based on years of relevant experience and education.
