The Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism Department at Crystal Run Healthcare is a busy, well‑established, state‑of‑the‑art practice serving patients throughout Orange County, Hudson Valley, and the lower Catskills. We have the team, equipment, and support you need to practice at the peak of your license and thrive as an Endocrinologist today and tomorrow!
Fellowship‑trained, physician‑led, patient‑centered, team‑based care environment.

Autonomy and independence in practice, including a strong affiliation with local tertiary care hospitals that provide a full range of medical and procedural Endocrinology care services.
Desirable Monday‑Friday schedules during normal business hours that promote work‑life balance.
Manageable and equitably shared rotating on‑call support and local inpatient rounding (1:6 to 1:7‑week rotations; very manageable).
Patient census – adult focused (ages 18+).

Position Responsibilities
Investigate, diagnose, and treat full range of endocrine system disorders, including diabetes, hyperthyroidism, osteoporosis, and thyroid disorders.
Provide comprehensive, state‑of‑the‑art diabetes care using a team‑based approach – full‑time endocrinologists, nurse practitioners, diabetes educators, and nutritionists work together to treat and prevent complications.
On‑site screening for osteoporosis to enable early detection, education, prevention, and treatment.
Comprehensive services for diagnosis and treatment of thyroid disorders: hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, nodules, and cancer.
Provide on‑site thyroid laboratory testing, imaging with ultrasonography, and biopsies.
Provide comprehensive medical and procedural endocrine care within a team of 14 highly skilled, fellowship‑trained Endocrinologists and Advanced Practice Clinicians.
Consult with patients about endocrine health status, offering the latest advancements in care.
Begin days in state‑of‑the‑art, multi‑specialty outpatient offices and finish with hospital rounding.
Refer patients to advanced specialists as needed.
Examine, diagnose, and oversee all treatment before and after surgery, identifying associated risks.
Order tests and interpret results to determine optimal treatment options.
Maintain appropriate medical records and results.
Proficiency/comfort with thyroid biopsies highly preferred but not required.

Required Qualifications
Completion of (or in process of completing) accredited fellow training program(s).
Board‑certified in Endocrinology and any additional relevant Endocrine sub‑specialties (if relevant).
Unrestricted New York State Medical License (or ability to obtain).
Current New York State DEA certificate (or ability to obtain).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency/comfort with thyroid biopsies.
Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $208,000 - $352,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
